Sasuke Uchiha is impotent in Boruto Two Blue Vortex, but Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chap 12 finally found a way to save him.
As Boruto Two Blue Vortex begins, taking place three years after the events of the prequel, readers are left confused about Sasuke's whereabouts. After much speculation, he is finally revealed to have been turned into a tree by the Shinju.
During the time-skip, he was defeated by the Ten-Tails and his chakra was used to create a new Shinju: Hidari. This new Shinju invaded Konoha with the others to find Naruto and found Himawari instead.
When we learned Sasuke's fate in Chapter 4, it sounded like it was pretty irreversible. However, it wasn't, as we saw in Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chap 12In this Chapter, the main character fights and defeats Hidari.
The Shinju is then killed by Kawaki, leaving behind a strange object that Kashin Koji identifies as the Soul Thorn. Boruto reveals that it is the only thing that can reverse Sasuke's condition – but we don't know how that process works.
In terms of its origin, the Soul Thorn seems to be the opposite of the Shinju's creation. The chakra they take away while being created must be stored inside the object after they die. And thus, it can turn a person from a tree back into a human.
The existence of the Soul Thorn also seems to be a little-known fact. Many people are unaware of it, including Konoha shinobi and Kawaki. Boruto must have learned about it during his journey after Sasuke's encounter with the Shinju.
The end Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chap 12Jura decides to kill the protagonist after seeing that he knows about the Soul Thorn. He attacks both Boruto and Sarada to get the object, showing that it is truly dangerous to the Shinju and could affect their existence.
However, how the ninjas were able to retrieve the Soul Thorn from Jura is a big question. But we can expect to find out in the next Chapter.
