Kodoani.com – Nemuki Magazine+ March number of Asahi Shimbun Publications posted the last chapter of the manga Girl Meat Girl of Sayaka Mogi on Thursday.
This science fiction series tells the friendship between Mameko, an innocent high school girl, and Yulily, an introverted pig. The two of them experienced the youth in a mysterious world, where different species coexisted.
Mogi launched girl Meat Girl on Nemuki+ in February 2023. Asahi Shimbun Publications published its first episode in February 2024 and the second volume will be launched in April.
Previously, Mogi was known for the Pupa horror manga, launched in 2011 on Comic Earth Star and ended in 2013. This series was adapted into a short TV anime consisting of 12 episodes in 2014.
In addition, she also composed Red Riding Hood's Wolf Apprentice, released on Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2017. After the end of the “first part” in 2018, she decided to publish the rest. The series also has a sequel called Final Testament to the Moon, launched in 2019 and published in English by Glacier Bay Books in 2022.
