My love mix-up duo! Launched a short series in July 2024
Kodoani.com – Shueisha's Marching Bessatsu Margaret Magazine published the last chapter of Kimagure a la Mode (Whimsical A La Mode) – Manga made by Wataru Hinekure and Aruko. The only synthetic story collection of the series will be released on March 25.
This is a series of short stories revolving around a cafe with a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The series was released in July 2024 on Bessatsu Margaret, marking a new cooperation project of the duo.
Previously, Hinekure and Aruko worked in My Love Mix-up! October 2023. My Love Mix-up! It was adapted into a Japanese live-action by 2021 and Thailand live-action is scheduled to premiere in June 2024.
After that, the two continued to cooperate in the short manga of the two chapters Uso Ka Makoto Ka Yu Yume Ka Koi (this love is a lie, truth or a dream?), Released in October 2022.
In addition, Aruko used to work with Kazune Kawahara to compose My Love Story !! (Ore Monogatari !!). The series started with a 100 -page chapter in 2011 before becoming a long series on Bessatsu Margaret. The manga ended in July 2016 with 13 episodes, fully published by Viz Media in North America. The series was also adapted into an anime in 2015 and a live-action movie of the same year.
