Many blockbuster games “faded” in the US after TikTok
Surely recently, the story of TikTok being banned in the US is no longer strange to the gaming community. On January 18, this social network announced its official shutdown after a long struggle. This decision has caused great controversy, especially when TikTok has become so popular, a platform used by more than half of the US population to date.

TikTok has officially “disappeared” in the US from January 19, 2025.
It was thought that TikTok's departure would cause a stir, but it turns out that this also involves the gaming market in the US. Typically, recently, many blockbuster games from developer Moonton were also discontinued immediately after TikTok disappeared.

The reason is because Moonton is a subsidiary of ByteDance – the owner of TikTok. ByteDance's withdrawal from the US market also caused many subsidiaries like Moonton to suffer the same fate. It is worth mentioning that Moonton owns many attractive masterpieces that are strongly welcomed by American gamers such as One Punch Man – The Strongest, Watcher of Realms, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Mobile Legends: Adventure…
TikTok is restored in the US, but what will be the fate of the games?
However, after 1 day of “banning”, TikTok quickly returned to the US thanks to the help of President-elect Donald Trump. After his inauguration this morning (January 20), Donald Trump is said to have helped reverse the ban become possible.

But since TikTok stopped working in the US, many of the blockbuster games mentioned above have updated similar announcements to the gaming community in this country. On the official website of Mobile Legends: Adventure, the development team announced:
“Mobile Legends: Adventure is currently unavailable
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Mobile Legends: Adventure is currently unavailable to players in the United States.
We really value our active community of players and are actively exploring possibilities to bring the game back in the future.
In the meantime, you can continue to manage your account and download your game data on our official website.
Thank you for being a part of our community and we hope to see you again soon.”
Currently, these games have been completely removed from store systems in the US. Obviously, this sudden disappearance left many gamers confused and regretful. TikTok has returned to the US, but the fate of ByteDance's games is still “obscure”.
