Crunchyroll has announced the nominees and celebrity hosts for the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, honoring anime titles such as Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen and Oshi no Ko, among many other anime titles across multiple categories.
According to the streaming giant, the 8th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards features more than 30 categories for anime fans to vote on — three of which are new to online shows. Dominating categories like Best Anime of the Year and Best Continuing Series are fan favorites like Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan and Season 2 of Vinland Saga. New shows and original anime like the hit Oshi no Ko and Bocchi the Rock! also made their mark as strong contenders.

Online voting is now open until January 27 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The 2024 Crunchyroll Awards will also feature celebrity hosts who will be present during the pre-show and the actual live ceremony. Hip-hop artist Megan Thee Stallion and Japanese singer-songwriter LiSA are among the many talents who will reveal the winners, as voted by anime fans online. “Watching anime is one of my favorite things to do!
