Koododani.com – NHK has just announced that the mascot Myaku The 2025 World Exhibition at Osaka will have a separate anime, scheduled to broadcast from March 3. The anime is titled Ha-i! Myaku Myaku Desu (It's Me! Myaku Myaku), with a total of eight episodes, each episode lasts two minutes. The two episodes will be broadcast every day from 3 to 6 March.

The story revolves around Myaku Myaku, a mysterious creature originating from 3.5 billion years ago. After coming to a town to look for someone to talk about life and in the future, Myaku Myaku met a lazy middle -aged man. In a strange development, the two began to live together, and from there, the man gradually cared about the issues that he did not notice before, such as the environment, the cohabitation with other creatures. Or wasting food.
The anime has the voice of Nami Mizuno as Myaku Myaku, Katsuhisa Hōki as “Occhan” (middle -aged man) and Kikunosuke Toya as Naoya. Masanori Numaguchi (Captain Bal) takes on the role of a director at Fanworks, while Toru Hosokawa (Wasimo, Polar Bear's Café) wrote the script.
The Expo 2025 World Exhibition at Osaka will take place from April 13 to October 13, and this anime can be considered as part of the promotional campaign for the event.
