Take attendance of the best modern zombies

The Zombie theme in the anime in a recent decade has created interesting overthrow or interpretation of the concept of zombie's apocalypse. While High School of the Dead can be one of the most famous anime when it comes to zombies, there are other anime that can satisfy any zombie lovers.

High School of the Dead

Emerging from the relationship between zombies and Steampunk (a science fiction genre combining technology elements) is a 2016 horror film known in Japan with the name 'Koutetsujō no Kabaneri'. The content revolves around the survival battle of a high school student in Japan when the Zombies disaster suddenly broke out in the city they live.

The anime gives viewers the spectacular battle between the main characters and the Zombies Army, mixed with smart tactics to help the main characters exist among a world full of hungry zombies.

Sunday Without God (2013)

This seemingly ominous anime is set in a really abandoned world. This has deep consequences, death and birth – a continuous reflection cycle that has previously ended completely. No one was born, but no one really died, so that the “dead” to travel among those living. Before leaving, the Lord left the world a last miracle in the form of the grave holders, mysterious individuals capable of bringing the actual dead to the resting place through a burial.

The zombies in this series are the corpses that the grave holders have to rest.

The Empire of Corpses (2015)

This is an animated film produced by Wit Studio, in which the world has created technology capable of reviving corpses. Those who are revived without their own mind or will and are used to work as manual labor in many different contexts. While the flesh can revive, the soul does not. However, there was rumors that Dr. Viktor Frankenstein, before disappearing, revived the only soul revival.

School-Live! (2015)

School-Live! There is an interesting expression on the topic of zombies in the anime because it does not lead to the end of the world like most other programs.

Most of the Summary of School-Live! All explained that the main character Yuki wishes to join his school club, School Living Club, with simple rules of doing everything that exists in the campus. The audience realized in the first episode that Yuki was an unreliable storyteller, because her perspective was like that to protect her fragile mind from the zombies surrounding them in the school building. The type of storyline about zombies like this is unprecedented.

Zombieland Saga (2018)

Zombie Land Saga is a series of idols and horror anime. In 2008, a high school student named Minamoto Sakura died from a direct hit into a truck while she was about to plan to apply for an idol. Ten years later, she was revived by Tatsumi Kotaro with 6 other girls, with the plan to revive Saga with helping them to become an idol group of all zombies with the name Frochouchou.
