Kodoani.com – Netflix has started streaming the new English dubbed trailer cho Pokémon Horizons: The Series and announced that the anime will premiere on March 7, after a delay. The Pokémon Company initially announced that the anime would launch on Netflix in the US on February 23.
The Pokemon Horizons: The Series anime follows two new main characters, Riko and Roy. The anime includes Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly from the games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, as well as the legendary Pokémon Rayquaza in Shiny form. Additionally, the anime also features new characters such as Friede and Captain Pikachu, a Pokémon professor and a Pokémon battle partner alongside Riko and Roy.
Saori Den will direct the anime, Daiki Tomiyasu is the creative director, and Dai Sato is overseeing the script. Tetsuo Yajima is the action director, Rei Yamazaki is the character designer, and Kyōko Itō is the supporting character designer. Masafumi Mima was the sound director, and Conisch composed the music.
The anime premiered in Japan in April 2023 with a one-hour special episode. The show airs on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. JST (4:55 a.m. EDT). The anime began its second season, “Terapagos no Kagayaki” (The Brilliance of Terapagos), with its 29th episode on October 27 in Japan.
