Fans are divided over the newly revealed trailer for One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda’s new Monsters anime adaptation, scheduled to release on Netflix on January 21, 2024.
The release of the new Monsters trailer, seen below, was met with a mixed reception following its recent release. The full cast of the anime has been revealed, with Ryuma played by Yoshimasa Hosoya, along with Flare (Kana Hanazawa), Shirano (Hiroki Tochi), DR (Mitsuaki Madono) and Master (Katsuhito Nomura). Unfortunately, for some fans, the excitement for the series ended there, with the transitions between cuts and the constant color filtering effects considered awkward by fans. However, as one of Oda’s first works and Sunghoo Park’s first directorial effort since the Jujutsu Kaisen series, many are also excited about the upcoming release.
