Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator launches in Japan on September 23
Kodoani.com – Official Twitter account for mobile and PC gaming “Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator” (Atelier Resleriana: Wasurerareta Renkinjutsu to Kyokuya no Kaihо̄sha) from Koei Tecmo and Akatsuki Games Inc. announced on Tuesday that the game will officially release globally on January 25.
Players who pre-register will receive 1,000 Lodestar Gems, “By the Cool Riverside” SSR Memories, and the three-star “5-Star Pie Meister” character Rorona when the game launches. The game launched for Android and iOS devices in Japan on September 23. The game’s Japanese Twitter account announced in late October that the game would be available on PC via Steam in January 2024.
In the game, the first main character is Resna, a fledgling alchemist voiced by Saho Shirasu. Her mission is to bring the forgotten art of alchemy to the world, and she journeys with her best friend, the beastwoman knight Isana (Minami Tanaka), the “handsome adventurer” Roman ( Yūya Hirose) and alchemy teacher Saskia (Mamiko Noto).
The second main character is Valeria (voiced by Manami Numakura), a person who has lost her memory and only knows how to fight. She works as an adventurer with her partner Heidi (Naomi Ōzora), who is also a runaway. The two live together with merchant girl Flock (Yūko Ōno), who cleans up after their sloppy habits, and also keeps an eye on drunken ex-sailor Lanze (Katsuyuki Konishi).
Takahiro (author of “Yuki Yuna Is a Hero,” “Chained Soldier”) is in charge of the story and series composition, while series creator Shinichi Yoshiike is supervising. Umiu Geso and tokki are responsible for the character designs.
