Kodoani.com – Cygames has posted a story trailer for the fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising on Saturday.
The game will have English and Japanese versions. The main plot of the game will revolve around the character Lucilius, who will appear as a DLC character in January 2024. Lucilius is the first character in the Season 1 Character Pass, which includes a total of six characters. Additional characters will be available in late February, April, May, summer, and fall 2024.

Cygames also revealed that the game will have a paid DLC called “Uma Musume Pretty Derby Premium Avatar Set” that will be released on the game’s launch day. This DLC pack will include avatars and premium badges for four characters from the series, along with the Carrot Blade weapon skin, for $9.99.
The game will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam on December 14. Early access to the game will be available from December 11.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will have three versions: Standard, Premium and Free. The Free Edition will have four characters, “part 1” of the story, online play, a new “Grand Bruise Legends” mode, and some other limited features. The game also supports rollback netcode and cross-platform play.
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising will include a battle royale mode called “Grand Bruise Legends”, as well as a new “Ultimate Skills” mechanic, more powerful than Plus Skills. In addition, the game will have new Dash Attack and Triple Attack mechanics. In total, there are 24 playable characters from the previous fighting game, along with new characters and levels, story content, enhanced graphics, and an online lobby. New characters include Anila, Siegfried, Nier and Grimnir.
Players can transfer data (between the same platforms) from Granblue Fantasy: Versus to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, including story progression, tournament trophies, EX colors, Battle Pass color variations, and weapon skins. Battle Pass gas.
Arc System Works and Cygames launched the fighting game Granblue Fantasy: Versus in Japan in February 2020 and later expanded globally. Cygames also released the mobile game Granblue Fantasy in 2014.
