Earlier this week, Atlus disappointed many fans when it was announced that Persona 5 Royal will have no new content when it lands on PS5, PC and GamePass.
Persona 5 Royal re-released without an update, leaving gamers extremely disappointed
Persona 5 Royal itself is also an update of the original Persona 5, and although it does not bring in many visual improvements, the 2019 version still scores points in the hearts of fans for updating many new content, they have so much influence on the plot that you feel like you’re playing a whole new better game with depth and other connections for you to plan for a tumultuous year in Tokyo (myself The upgrade to the Dungeon in the heart of the city makes it a lot less boring). Because of that, many fans are willing to spend their money to buy the game again.
Many people also criticize this as a shame of the game series
But three years later Persona 5 Royal returned on new platforms without bringing any improvements or incentives for the fans to come later. It must be said that there are many ways that Atlus can satisfy fans as simple as updating new and smoother image modes, but if they don’t have too much time, why not collect packages? DLC and then sold as a complete edition this also somewhat appeased the fans. But the way they chose to sell everything like it usually doesn’t update or add to it and then want the fans to support it again, so up to 80% of people participated in a poll on the PushSquare page for that Atlus and Sega were too greedy. But this may also stem from Sega’s agreement with Microsoft when they will bring Persona 3-4-5 games to GamePass in the near future, so the publisher wants to balance the income to make the decision to sell. Oddly enough, this version is just a re-release, so they don’t focus too much on improving the image, but I still hope that after receiving a lot of feedback from Sega, there will be new updates.
