Now, on February 2024, Universal Studio Japan is preparing for the return of extended reality (XR) games “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc“.

By combining 360° VR visuals, speed and G, players can feel the extremely realistic breath and power of Tanjiro and his team in an immersive experience only available at USJ! Experience for yourself the extreme excitement of being “full of power” from the bottom of your heart!
The event period runs from February 1 to June 6, 2024. The XR ride will take fans aboard the Mugen Train, where they can re-experience scenes from the 2020 series and 2021 season 2 Featuring appearances from characters such as Tanjirô Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Kyôjurô Rengoku, Enmu and Akaza, the ride will bring fans a full 360-degree immersive VR movie.
The ride will return to the park between February 1 and June 6, 2024. The ride originally opened in September 2021 and has been successful throughout its run for until February 2022.
Universal Studio Japan has also announced some rules and regulations on the game’s official website. The park requests that the following people avoid participating in the ride for safety purposes: people with heart disease, abnormal blood pressure, back, neck, hip or spine injuries, pregnant people, people with motion sickness cars, fear of heights, epilepsy, claustrophobia, sensitivity to noise, or recent surgery. However, people using wheelchairs, prosthetics or other medical devices and people with other disabilities can participate in the tour with staff assistance.
For fans of “Demon Slayer”, this is definitely a ride you don’t want to miss. Unfortunately, Muichiro Tokito’s voice actor, Kengo Kawanishi, looks like he’ll have to wait a little longer for his ride to the Infinity Castle at the park.
