A new trailer has been released for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero! Coming soon!, officially launched at the Dragon Games Battle Hour event in Los Angeles.
Dragon Ball fans are waiting for more updates on Sparking! Zero has since revealed the announcement trailer – a short one-minute video that shows off exciting footage of Goku and Vegeta exchanging blows, eventually transforming into their super saiyan blue forms. The opening words “A new Budokai Tenkaichi begins” all but confirm that the upcoming game will be the long-awaited sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which came out in 2007. New trailer , seen below, is just a brief tease of what awaits fans in the long-awaited sequel.

Dragon Ball’s latest collaboration sees Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks and more become the faces of one of America’s most popular cereals.
In the trailer, Goku and Vegeta fight while introducing several additional forms, including the legendary Super Saiyan God form that first appeared in Dragon Ball Super. While not much additional information about the story was revealed, Goku opens his fight with the line, “My name is Goku and Earth is my home,” suggesting that the fight comes simply. It’s simply an introductory match between two Saiyans. Vegeta’s Saiyan ape form is also shown, famously appearing in Dragon Ball Z during his first major battle with Goku.
Dragon Ball: Budokai Tenkaichi has been a beloved title in the Dragon Ball video game series for many years. The series is set up so that each character, including each respective form, has their own unique stats and moveset allowing for dozens of unique combat combinations. During the live meeting that took place before the trailer reveal, officials confirmed that Sparking! Zero is definitely a direct sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3. The title Sparking! Zero was specifically chosen to promote franchise unification in both domestic and foreign markets.

A Dragon Ball fan artist has reimagined Cell Max from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero into the original DBZ villain’s perfect Cell form.
Dragon Ball will be released on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. In addition to Bandai Namco reviving the Budokai Tenkaichi series, a brand new series will also air.
