The Hokage is the highest leader of Konoha village, and the Hokage's position is directly below the Daimyo – the lord of the Fire Nation. Below are some facts about the position of Hokage in Naruto that you may not know.
1. 6 out of 7 Hokage were chosen due to their internal power

As you may know, 6 out of the 7 current Hokages were chosen based on the Nepotism system. Nepotism is a system in which the selection of positions is given to family, relatives or the like, thereby depriving others of opportunities.
When Konoha was first built, Hashirama wanted to make Madara Hokage, but Tobirama did not accept and the choice of leader had to be done by voting.
Finally, the election between Hashirama and Madara was held in Konoha. The chosen one was Hashirama and he became the first leader of Konoha.
Turns out, Hashirama was the only Hokage chosen by election, then from Tobirama to Naruto, everyone was chosen by the previous Hokage.
2. Minato Namikaze has not yet revealed who his heir is

Based on the first point, each Hokage had a successor that they chose themselves, but it turns out there was one person who didn't, and that was Minato.
If Hashirama chooses Tobirama, Tobirama chooses Hiruzen, Hiruzen chooses Minato, then who does Minato choose? Unfortunately, Minato died before he could hand over his position, in fact he only served as Hokage for a short time. Maybe you don't know, Minato actually chose his heir.
3. Uchiha Obito was planned by Minato to become Hokage

When Minato was resurrected in the Edo Tensei regime, the Yondaime said who would be his successor and he had been planning it for a long time. It turns out the chosen one is Obito.
Minato was very disappointed when he learned the truth that Obito had become a villain, even the mastermind behind the deaths of himself and his wife, Kushina. At that time, Minato said that if everything ended well, specifically Obito did not have an accident, Rin did not die, and of course Minato was still Hokage, then he wanted to pass his position down to Obito, not Kakashi.
4. A retired Hokage can serve again under certain circumstances

Instead of choosing a new candidate, the retired Hokage was able to serve again, specifically in the case of Hiruzen, Minato's replacement. Hiruzen served until Naruto's Chunin exams.
If Orochimaru hadn't made a mistake and Hiruzen had lived longer, Tsunade might never have taken office.
5. The Second rarely wears Hokage uniform

In fact, we don't know for sure whether Tobirama actually disliked wearing the Hokage's hat and outfit, because of all the Hokages, the one whose tenure was least talked about was Tobirama. Instead of wearing Hokage clothes, he often wears blue armor with his signature feathers. The Second only wore Hokage clothes and a hat in the room of the leader of Konoha.
6. Jiraiya was asked to become Hokage three times but he always refused

Jiraiya was invited to become Hokage three times. The first time was when Hiruzen wanted to retire, the second time was after Minato's death, and the third time was when Hiruzen died by Orochimaru. But every time Jiraiya refused.
Even when Tsunade held the position of Hokage, the night before Jiraiya went on a mission to seek information from Pain (before Jiraiya died), Tsunade still thought that Jiraiya would be a better Hokage than him, and Jiraiya once again returned the favor. word is no.
7. There were three Dark Hokages in Konoha's history

So far there have been three people considered the Dark Hokage and all three have taken on different roles.
First is Danzo. Even though Hiruzen became Hokage, Danzo was involved in many things, some of which were even approved by Hiruzen himself, such as the founding of Anbu Root.
Next is Itachi. Sasuke believes that Itachi is the true Hokage because he is willing to shoulder the burden of the village alone and sacrifice his ego for the good of the people. Upon becoming Edo Tensei, Hiruzen agreed that Itachi was like the Hokage.
Next is Sasuke. Naruto said Sasuke is the Dark Hokage, because while Naruto protects and takes care of the village from the inside, Sasuke helps from the outside. But Sasuke doesn't think of himself like that because he feels unworthy.
